Photoshoot with Therese N. - The New Page

It's been thousands of years, but how it comes to be that two unrelated people meet in the most random places on planet Earth, to feel a special connection and make many choices and compromises to both be together and create new life still remains a mystery. There is endless magic to it though, endless dedication, effort, love, and understanding. And this is what makes it so beautiful.

Watching two dear friends take these steps together, is a whole different story, and being part of their journey, and getting to document it all - is a big honor.

I went to Paris to see these two before a very important date that fell on April 17 - when Luca Alois was born. We did two photoshoots - first on the last week of pregnancy, and another one - at their house some weeks later already with the little one in their arms. It was a colorful handful of days, strolling the city's streets, laughing, catching up with friends, and enjoying the French capital at its polished shortly before the Olympic games.

It was also a treat for me to be back at the studio - a location I haven't worked at for some time, and one I am itching to come back to over the colder months of this coming autumn.
